McCarter & English hosts Exit Planning Institute’s Greater New York Chapter Event: The Discipline to Prepare – Intangibles from a Career in the US Special Forces at 7:45 a.m. at our New York office.
Regardless of industry, experience, or knowledge, the discipline to consistently prepare for upcoming actions and events is critical to future success. Often, individuals, companies, and organizations rely on past successes as a judgment for future results. However, competitors & challengers look to dictate their positioning in the future, and leaders must focus themselves and their organizations on what they must do today to be effective tomorrow. Francis Racioppi spent 13 years in the United States Army as a Ranger and Green Beret. He speaks to and teaches strategic planning, preparation, and execution as learned throughout a career in combat, and he imparts those lessons and techniques for use in the private sector.
Learning Objectives:
•Understanding one’s individual/team place in their organization
•Critical analysis techniques of what leaders can and cannot control during preparation
•Contingency planning and prioritization of workload
