McCarter welcomed two new fellows, as part of their fall class of associates. Yadilza Reyes has joined as the first Social Justice Project fellow, focusing on criminal justice issues such as expungements and economic justice matters facing communities of color. Michelle Smith will serve as the new Pro Bono Fellow for the City of Newark, focusing her efforts on partnering with community-based organizations to represent tenants facing eviction, and engaging in policy advocacy.
